Left my wallet in my bag in a cubby at the gym....of course someone had to come along and gank it.
Luckly i had my bak on the phone within 15 mins canceling out my debit card and all my other CC's within the hour.
Now the bad part is they took my drivers license as well. So I went to the DMV today thinking thank god this place is open on saterday only to wait about 4 hours and have them tell me "our system has just crashed, we will be unable to print any more ID's today"
They did issue me a temporary permit to drive but it has no picture on it whatsoever. The only ID i have that has name on it is my old university id. There is no experation date on it, but i no longer attend the school. I also have an obscure state of arizona horse racing license, again has my name, and an experation date, but no real data. I guess the only other piece i have proving me is me is my birth certificate.
Now to compound on this i have a business flight to St Louis monday morning at 6am. Theres no way to get any sort of ID other than what i have listed above. Also the ticket to my knowledge is non-refundable and costed somewhere in the $700 range (business class), luckly wasn't my money but the company i work for, so that would REALLY piss them off if i was unable to go.

So all that being said is there any way of getting me on that plane monday morning? will the few Id's and "proof" i have work? I'm already freaking out enough since i haven't flown in like 6 years so i have no clue of the rules and regulations about what i can and cant take nowadays either, now with this added on I pray i make it through security.

Cliffs:
Wallet Stolen /w only form of ID (DL) inside.
Only ID's have around are old university ID and Horse racing license
Plane flight monday 6am /w non-refundable ticket

Proper Identification

If you have a paper ticket for a domestic flight, passengers age 18 and over must present one form of photo identification issued by a local state or federal government agency (e.g.: passport/drivers license/military ID), or two forms of non-photo identification, one of which must have been issued by a state or federal agency (e.g.: U.S. social security card). For an international flight, you will need to present a valid passport, visa, or any other required documentation. Passengers without proper ID may be denied boarding.

In short, take your selective service card, your social security card and your horse racing license. That's 3 state/federal non-photo ID's and should be one more than enough.

I doubt they will accept it. Especially after 9/11. Bring anything else that can identify you, social security card, etc.

I hope you don't look M.E either.

From the horse's mouth, man -- the TSA.

sweet...i love you man....I have my social security card...my selective se4rvice card...my birth certificate and the two picture ID's (my state university ID and my state horse racing license)

Its funny how you think your selective service card will have no use but then the day rolls around and somehow it is :p

EDIT: I'm also about as white bread redneck american as they come...from the same lineage as Clinton (literally...hes like an Uncle twice removed) and my last name is Duke (I dunno how much more american that can be unless it was like "Smith")

They are usually less strict when you are coming home from a round trip.
I've loss my ID during the trip before and they let me on with just my CC.

I once got on with my student ID in Boston's Logan, but that was before 9/11. Never tried after 9/11. Good luck

I dont have a passport...never had a reason to get one (never leave the country)....although i might be rethinking that here after this ordeal....

That is reassuring to hear...although i would think flying out of tucson this would be more true than it is going to be flying out of st louis...

Its frustrating that we let these guys (the ones behind 9-11) get to us so much like this....i remember when flying was "enjoyable" as in your could go to the airport and get through security no problem and friends see you to the gate...now none of that...its more stressful than anything else. It kinda makes ya wonder if there is another attack how much more will they do? Limit flying all together for those who "register" and can provide bio-data? Retinal Scans? Full body MRI Searches? I dunno thats just my little commentary...take it as you please :p

not indicitive of what may happen to you, but when I was going from school for an interview one of the people I went with did not have her driver's license with her and gave the lady her student ID. They didnt let her do curbside check-in but she was able to get on the flight without much fuss. We were flying first class...so maybe they were nicer because of that.
