i have my taisolCEK734092 plugged into the cpu fan header and want to plug in two sunon "whisper" fans as well. here are the specs on the fans:

- 25 cfm
- 23.4 decibels
- 1900 rpm
- .07 amp
- .8 watts

do you think having these two fans plugged into the motherboard headers will fry them (the headers)? my power supply is 300w.

for one, power supply has nothing to do with how much the mobo can draw thru those headers.

secondly, it sounds like they SHOULD be ok...but you always try stuff at your own risk ;) worst things that gonna happen is you wont be able to use the header anymore for powering fans....ive never heard of a mobo being fried for that...

shouldn't do anything, i've had 2 120 mm fans running with 2 80 mm fans, and had no problems with the fan headers whatsoever.

I think I've said this many times before. I wouldnt trust a fan over 3W to be plugged into a mobo fan header. No need to and isnt worth the risk. Unless your mobo manual specifically says it can handle more than 3W fans, dont do it ;)
