The 7000 AlCu series works as well anyway and will fit most cases with no problems. But I'd say that the way your mobo locates the CPU will be as important as the clearance the case has- if the CPU sits too close to the edge of the mobo then it'll be no go. The 7700 has about a 2.7" radius while the 7000 has about a 2.15" radius. I'd say if your mobo has at least an inch between the edge of the CPU socket and the edge of the mobo, the 7000 would work OK.
. But in the Sonata, as you probably know, the edge of the mobo does come quite close to the bottom of the PSU.
