Will a Yamaha RX-V675 replace my sound bar?

Yeh, probably dumb question but I have been wanting a nice receiver for a good bit now and the $299 price I got could not be passed up.


So I assume that the V675 I have coming can process all my sound from my DirectV, to turntable to gaming systems and my sound bar can become obsolete. My son would LOVE it for a Christmas gift.

Damn... I should've waited. I got the RX-v675 for $400 only a couple of weeks ago on Amazon. Now it's $300?!!
