Will a Xeon fit my motherboard?

My old motherboard supports up to 450 Mhz PII processors, my question is will a 450 Mhz PII Xeon w/2 Meg Cache fit my motherboard as well?
 
Nope.

The Xeons use Slot2 connectors, as opposed to the Slot1 connector a regular P2/3 uses.

But for home user type stuff, there's not really any difference, aside from the proce, so dont worry about it 😉
 
Well they are only 29 bucks on Pricewatch so I thought "What the heck?" It was going to be for my FTP/DCHP server as well.
 
The motherboard is what's gonna kill you. The are very expensive - not to mention that most of then need server size cases......
