My friend lives in an apartment above me and we want to start sharing my internet among us(5mb download 1 upload). I am surrounded by concreate walls,so I am sceptical it's going to work...

Also, being a newbie at wirelss thing...What do I need. As I understand I will need a wireless router and 2 pci adapters(1 for each pc) Is that correct?

Any suggestions on a good hardware will be also appreciated as I've never had a chance to use wireless internet or LAN. As I have read here, wireless is usually slower, but I am hoping to at least get 200Kb/s out of 500Kb+ possible..

Get a Linksys WRT54G wireless router, you plug in yuor PC with a wire, his will be wireless. GE a PCI car dfor his machine with an extrernal antenna, so uyou get mx reception.
