I know the UK has a different power rating then the US...will i just need to get a converter to use the ac adaptor and powercord?
 
No, it won't speak the same language. You will need to hack the language interruptor and add a halitosis chip.

You should be OK after that.

Looking at my shiny new psp ac adapter 😛 it says 100-240 volts 😛 So all you should need is a plug adapter, no need to convert voltage i believe.
