Will a SVC GC69 and panaflo L1A be enough for a Barton 3000+?

I think the title says it all..... in fact, the CPU wil be a Barton 2500+ OC to 3000+ speed.... it is for my wife so no need for extreme speed...... Also, how much hotter does the barton 2500+ runs in comparison to the palomino 1700+??? How about power consumption between both?? The current CPU is a palomino 1700+in a K7S5A, but I guess she deserves an upgrade to a barton in an Nforce2....
