Will a Stock C2D Heatsink Fan fit on a P4 chip?

I just upgraded my C2D heatsink fan and now I want to overclock my P4 chip. Will the C2S Heatsink fan fit on the P4 chip?

Yes, it will fit any LGA775 CPU.

If the P4 chip is socket LGA775, then it should. If is socket 478 (pins stick out of CPU), then I don't think it will work since they use a different mounting system.

as long as the P4 is a socket LGA775 chip, it should fit without a problem.
