Will a soundblaster 16 work with KT7-RAID?

I have got my whole duron set up, and have now discovered that my ancient turtle beach A3D soundcard won't work with my mobo, due to the Kx133 chipset...thanks to this forum...

I don't feel like dishing out $50 for a SB live, and someone is offering me this soundblaster 16 for cheap, and I wanted to know if this would have any conflictions with the duron setup. Their website (creative's) says,

"Intel® or 100% compatible motherboard chipset"

but then again they say that for the SB Live too...any help is greatly appreciated...thanks

I think I am fairly safe in saying that a SoundBlaster 16 is probably the most compatible soundcard ever. If its cheap, what have you got to lose? BTW, Lives are AWESOME!!!

Since the SB16 is an ISA card if I recall, you will have to set the IRQ (default is 5) to Legacy ISA device in the bios PCI/PnP setup. This will prevent the OS from sharing this IRQ which SB16 can't handle.
