Will a Socket-A heatsink fit on a Socket-370 motherboard?

A friend of mine broke two of the tabs off his Socket-370 board, so I want to give him the cooler that came with my new Barton 2500+. Will it fit?

Most Socket A coolers should also fit Socket 370 as long as there is room enough around the socket for the one you want to use.

I've got a big alum Socket A hs on top of a 800Mhz PII, and it's working just fine. Only have a old, slow 40mm fan on it too!
