Will a Radeon 9800 Pro work with a 1680x1050 panel?

Will it? or will I need a new video card before I can get something like the Viewsonic or Dell 20.1" widescreens?

It'll work fine, just don't expect to be playing the latest, or recent, games with higher detail settings. 1650x1080 is right around the drop off point for a 9800 Pro
