Will a Radeon 4870 work on nForce 430 chipset?

One of my systems is an HP a6130n desktop. It came with integrated graphics solution (GeForce 6150), which is crap so I bought an 8600GTS which fit nicely and works fine for most games until I want to play games like Crysis Warhead. I've gamed on a rig which uses a 4850 and it runs extremely nice. However, I want to one up it and snag a 4870 while its hot.

My question is will a 4870 physically fit into a a6130n (microATX), and if so will my motherboard (not sure which one it is) and chipset (nForce 430) support it?

If not I will go against my will and build a new system.

Ahem. Forum rules.

To answer your question: The card will work and fit in the motherboard just fine. However, physically fitting any modern graphics card inside an HP case may be another story entirely. If it's anything like the cheapos we have at the office, probably not. You should be able to find the card's dimensions at retailer's sites. (Or Google)

Thank you for your reply. Yea I know I will definitely have to do some measuring lol.. I really hope it fits.. Otherwise I'm going to wind up building a new system, again.
