will a physic processor help regular games?

will the unit like the 'Ageia PhysX Physics Processing Unit' that you see with some of othe top end dells and alien ware machines help games that are out now?

if i picked up one of these processing unit cards would i see a differnce in bf2 or cs source?

i have my current system kinda maxxed out (still agp 🙁 ) and i'm looking to give it a little more grunt.

I believe that are no games that are currently utilizing this technology. I read from somewhere that there are about 30 games coming out that will support PPU in the near future.

No, the games need to support it in order for it to help. For the price of the card, you can upgrade to a better GPU. You have AGP you say? What's your current GPU?

ahh well that stinks. yea agp. my current card is a ati x850xt platinum edition 256 meg ram. from what i know, this is the best agp card there is.

What does it do? I see Dell is offering one. I like the disclaimer about it basically doing nothing if the game does not support it. Sounds like x-ram? 😉
