Will a P4 3GHz work in NT4?

I am building a system for a database conversion that has to run on NT. I 'm looking to build the system with a P4 3Ghz and Asus P4C 800E-Deluxe and 1 gig of ram. Just curious to see if this will work with NT. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

yeah it would - as long as a system meets the minimum specs for the OS and that drivers are available - not really a problem with NT4 then you'll be fine.

hyperthreading wont work properly, but as long as you disable HT in the bios it will probably work fine.

thanks guys, i did get it working, everything seems to be fine, took a little work to get the RAID working. i haven't turned off hyperthreading yet but i'm pretty sure NT isn't using it.
