Will a p3 run with a missing pin?

I just bought a p3 800 off some guy in the For Sale forum. He did say that he couldn't get the chip to run at its full rated speed, but never mentioned there was a missing pin. Any chance of this chip working?
 
Yes, depending on which pin it was, of course.

Some pins are just used for ground, but arent actually connected to / used on the chip. Or something like that heheh. I guess that you should just try it, unless you plan on identifying which pin it was.
 
with the two purposely missing pins on the bottom, its the top left corner pin that is missing. hope that makes sense.
