Will a nipple piercing show through a shirt?

Anyone have a nipple piercing?

Does it show through any of your everyday shirts? Polo shirts? T-Shirts? Button down shirts?

A girl I went out with for a short period had a small nipple ring and it most definitely would show through if she was not wearing a bra. It also depended somewhat on what "state" her nips were in. It showed more when they were relaxed (or maybe the nips just showed more when they were not...so you didn't notice the piercing).
