Will a new Nvidia GPU greatly reduce the Blender 3D rendering time I have an AMD 8350 at 4.0, 16 GB of 1600 kingston ram, Plextor sata 3 ssd, windows 7 home premium 64-bit, Asus m5a88-v evo with a sata 3 controller on the MOBO with 1 PCIE X16 2.0 bus being filled with a Nvidia msi 550 ti oc cyclone with I think only 192 Cuda cores, HP Pavilion 23xi 23 inch IPS monitor Basically my questions are.
1. Will i see a massive time reduced by the time i hit render to the time it finishes in blender?
2. with my configuration and PCIE 2.0 compared to cpu ram etc will i still get the same amount of Cuda Cores available Im going to have a $600 to $700 budget.
I don't play very many games but every once in a blue moon i will play on Steam im more of a multimedia junky more than anything and i can always wait till the next iteration of geforce cards come out some time this year they will probably have like 2900-3300 cuda cores for my budget.
with having the system how it is will i see a bottle neck in how much cuda cores i will have IDK a PCI 2.0 not being 3.0 i mean will i see any drop in cuda cores i know that sounds really weird sorry for my spelling any help is very appreciated Thanks again.
