Will a motherboard give you a beep code...

When the memory you install is not being seen due to the memory wanting a higher volatage? Was this not a problem with 965 boards?

I just got a Gigbyte 965p-ds3 and I have 4 gigs of ddr 800 memory in it and when I turn it on it will power on then power off then power on and stay on but send no signal to the monitor.

Thanks

no beep codes at all. I tried taking out all the memory to see if it would beep and still no beeps.

I have this problem, but only when I'm overclocking. Try leaving just one stick in the slot closet to the CPU and see if it boots. If it boots, go into the bios and increase the memory voltage to whatever your memory can handle.
