Are all motherboards made the same whether they're sold in north america/europe or asia?
Im going to buy one from europe because i cant find it here, i know the psu voltage setting is different there but really shouldnt affect anything right?

Yes, the mainboards are all the same. Regulations however are not, whether they're electrical or environmental.

Mainboards made for worldwide markets are made to adhere to all of them, so that's not normally to worry about either.

Modem riser cards do differ - and that's exactly why the modem circuit is on a riser to begin with.

correct, because the PSU transforms the local supply to what the main board needs & that's the same everywhere.

I think the only computer components that are affected by region are non-active PFC power supplies and TV tuners. Refreshingly different from DVDs.

Half the components in my computer are American, the other half New Zealand. No wacky hijinks as of yet!
