this girl i know has some decent sized knockers but she wants to tone up some upper arm flab so i recommended some exercises like bench presses and she claimed her breasts would get smaller and arms would get to muscular.

We'd have to see pics... it depends on the initial shape, size and texture of the breast.

they actually get bigger because the underlying muscle will grow. if she loses weight though it will stay the same or lose size

She needs to eat better and do cardio/lift.

You can't spont reduce anyway. Toning is a myth. If she sheds bf she will look "toned".

I know alot of women who think if they lift weights they will gain too much muscle.

The fact is most girls don't have the correct diet or amount of test to gain much muscle anyways.

The size of her breasts is going to change from her losing fat in her body not by gaining muscle. If her body fat doesn't drop her breasts should stay the same.

My advice for you is too go to a gym and look closely for yourself. I mean real close. Close enough she'll feel your breath.

And make sure you rub your chin with your fingers like you're thinking. Don't want to freak her out or anything.

is she fat? breasts are basically composed of fat. if she loses weight, she'll lose fat and that may cause her to lose some breast size. that or if she takes steroids it can cause breast tissue shrinkage.

it sounds to me though like she just doesn't want to exercise and is using that for an excuse.

This is also what I was going to say.

Oh, and lifting weights in and of itself does not give you increased definition, or "tone you up", as so many people like to call it.

Bench press tends to help make the breasts appear larger, as pectoral muscle will push them outwards.

Tell her that.

bench press will keep her breasts perky so that when she loses her breast fat her boobs may be smaller but they will have a better shape/lift

if she loses bodyfat the breast tissue will usually shrink. By just building the underlying chest muscles and nothing else, it will help lift her breasts and the muscle will act as a mini bra for lack of better terms.

Most women find a happy medium where they still are soft, but not saggy. Weight training will not give any woman an Arnold look unless they go gung-ho and even then they would need male hormones most of the time to trigger the last of their fat to come off and their muscles to expand beyond their normal genetics.

I used to lift in high school when I played volleyball. I've always had a really small chest, but lifting did not shrink my already lacking chest (if anything gave it a little more). And even with all the lifting, my arms never did get very big (they seemed huge to me as a skinny high school sophomore, but they were pretty normal sized).
