I am planning on buying a BFG Geforce 7300 LE Video Card (Link below) and I wanted to know if anyone using it knows if it supports 1680x1050 on DVI connection. The specs says max digital is 1600x1200..not sure if this higher or lower than 1680x1050. Any input will be really appreciated. Thanks.

I can't see that it will be a problem. It's a lower rez.

1600x1200=1,920,000 pixels
1680x1050=1,764,000 pixels

hmm I have an GEfroce 5200 right now, on which the max resolution is 1600x1200, but there is no 1680x1050. Also for my brother comp on his GE7300GS his 1680x1050 resolution showed up after the 1600x1200 resolution so.. I though maybe 1680x1050 is a higher resolution.

You may have to use slightly older driver to get 16*10 but yes it's supported. I get it with 6150IGP on our second system as well as 14*9 so I know the 7300 will get that resolution.

Sometimes the loss of certain resolutions in the NV CP can be from either not having proper monitor INF's loaded (real monitor model-specific drivers and not PnP) or a driver installed clean and not over the top if you're installing a new driver. I realize that installing a driver over another video driver usually isn't a good thing sometimes but as long as your within 1-2 versions back it won't hurt anything and will allow you to keep previous resolutions from a previous driver (from my own observations).

The worst that can happen is that you will have to create 1680x1050 as a custom resolution before it is available to be used. I have bottom-of-the-barrel NVidia 6150 integrated graphics and 1680x1050 is available.
