I'm pretty sure it will fit, but ask yourself first if you NEED a 1KW PSU. What will you be using it for?

for a near future xfire system - i already have the psu - i'm making sure i have enough power cause i popped a silverstone 750W using a previous xfire system. future proofing pretty much. if i do any more upgrades i want to make sure the power is there so i dont have to buy another psu like i had to do before.

You'd need an extremely loaded box (lots of hard drives, lights, bay devices, etc.) to really need much more than a solid 600W unit like the new Antec Earthwatts 600 (which, like the Corsair, is made by Seasonic). Nothing in your system listed in the OP justifies a PCP&C 750 either...

it will be loaded with all new stuff, not whats in my sig....the x1900xt's i used to have when in xfire mode makes the PCP&C hum pretty nicely and popped a highly touted silverstone 650W PSU after a month. i think i made a thread here about how mad i was about it, but i forget since its been so long since ive posted here.
i'm not going through that again, and anyplace locally isnt carrying any PCP&C psu's or i would have gotten one of them.

Looks like there is at least a clear foot of PSU room in there. The photo gallery on the CM site shows it clearly.

Sure, I have an X3 1,6kW in mine and that is longer than the HX1000. I did have to remove the top fan (not of much use anyway) and bend the tab out of the way to have room for the internal plugs.
