will a Celeron 1.2ghz work an any BX440 board? w/FCPGA adapter..

I lined up an slot1>FCPGA adapter and a slot1 bx440 chipset board from different sellers.
I suspect this should work tho may not dsplay the correct speed.

or could there be a voltage problem?

I thought the adapter handled the voltage difference but not for sure..
