Thinking of getting a new CPU, And wondering if the 8400 Will work on my Board.?
I hear that it does over here, And that it doesn't over there. My Computer Store says I would need a new Mobo for that Particular CPU.
So if it doesn't work, What would be a good cheap upgrade for Gaming purposes only given that my E6400 Does 3.1Ghz no problem 24-7 at 55C under Full Load?
How much of a gaming performance boost would I really see by getting a C2D 8400 and Overclocking it to 3.8-4.0Ghz (which I hear does no problem on Air!)?.
Would I be better off going with a cheap Q6600 for Gaming?
Thanx
