Will a better video card help LCD scrolling?

I replaced my 19in CRT with a 19in LCD, 25ms. When I pull the scroll bar down, with the CRT, the screen scrolled smooth, but with the LCD, you cannot read the text while scrolling. Is that the fault of the 25ms response being slow, or can I improve the scrolling by getting a better video card, like a Matrox?

did it improve any with the MX400?

i got ti4200 and a 25ms LCD and i can also tell its ghosting when scrolling, which hurts my eyes

only solution is to wait for 8ms LCDs to become cheap?

The only card I've ever used with this monitor is the mx400. I just ordered the Matrox G550. Even if it doesn't help the scrolling, maybe it will improve the image overall.

turn off Smooth Scrolling if its turned on, it helps slightly

LCDs have lower color capabilities, especially with grayscale.

i noticed jpg's look like garbage on my $150 17" LCD vs my 17" flatscreen. a different video card won't due much but you might be able to play around with the gamma correction on the nvidia display properties
