looking to get more RAM and was wondering if i got PC 133 ram if it would recognize it or if i will just have to settle for PC100 have the latest BIOS update
follow-up
you can try it at 133, if it doesn't work you can always go back to 100mhz. also, this IS assuming your CPU can OC to 133. most PIII's 700 or less should be alright
i think on that the clock speed is locked on the chip....i have a P III 800 either way it doesn't really matter too much...the only reason i am asking is someone is going to be giving me a stick of 128 PC133 ram and i have PC100 so thought that if it did work on my board i would for the time being get some more PC 133 but if it doesn't work and stays at PC 100 i won't really care...just have an additional 128 ram
