Will a AMD 1.2Gb 266 fsb work w/ a MSI Pro2a MOBO?

I had a MSI Pro2a mobo since december (still unopened), finally order a chip - 1.2 t-bird (200fsb) but was sent a 1.2 t-bird 266. :disgust:
Questions:

  1. Should I keep this board, given the resent bad press
Now despite the recent issues about this mobo(200fsb), will it work with this chip(266fsb)?

I don't see any reason why not. Just may not use the 266 FSB (your MB will default to the 200). You will probably have a hard time getting your FSB up to 133 using the 'old' KT133 chipset (nothing to do w/ your system, just the chipset most likely). But go ahead and try it to see what happens
