Will the 6600 and/or 6800 Geforce work in a older A7V (rev1.04) mobo?

From what i have read, the A7V has a AGP Pro slot. Will a newer 6 series geforce card work on this mobo?

GeForce 6600/6800's come in both AGP and Pci-e versions so it depends if you have the AGP version (which is the kind that will fit in your mobo) or not.

Yes, it should work. AGP 8X boards are backwards compatible with AGP 4X slots. The
"Pro" part of the A7V's AGP connector is basically an extra power connector for cards that
use it. Only a few AGP Pro cards were ever released for the desktop market. Adding an
extra connector to directly connect to the PSU obviously became more popular and reliable.
