Will a 533Mhz P4 run stably on Springdale Mobo?

Hi,
I am replacing my problematic P4 mobo (sis648) and would like to know if my P4 2.6 Ghz 533Mhz non-HT CPU will run stably on a new 865PE based mobo, I am thinking of buying the MSI Neo2 FISR or the Gigabyte. My RAM modules are 2 512MB Corsair PC3500. I can see from the MSI website that the mobo supports 533 but would like to know if anybody has had a bad or good experience to tell. Also, I may upgrade my CPU to the 800Mhz 3.0 P4 later when prices drop, that is why I'm thinking of the 865PE.

Thanks.

on of my buddies has that exact Msi & 2.6GHz 533fsb p4 & it works fine.
hope your videocard if it is a 9700pro is a late version one!
