will a 330w psu be enough for a x800 xt?

i have a 330w power supply. Its a good quality one though, so i think it should be enough. I will not overclock the card, however, i am running

Abit Nf7-s
xp 2600+ to 2.5ghz
1 dvd-rw and 160gb sata drive
4 fans, 1 of them being a Tornado for cpu

i am only running 2 drives so that should be ok right?

i think it will be fine, i have seen 6800 and prescotts together in little shuttle machines with 200W PSUs

If you are really worried, you can get a good 400W sparkle or forton over at newegg for ~40-50 bucks

Leave the unused slot covers off and it doubles as a toaster too! 😛

Cheers!

yeah, personally i think it is crazy to stick that much heat in a small box, but people over at sudhian do some pretty neat mods to there case. I got a friend here in tampa that drilled two 120mm holes are each side of the case and has the fans outside of the case and do a pull push thing, works pretty well but i think it loses the neat small box clean look.

i'll stick to my mid tower

Should be fine. If it's a quality 330W, and it has no significant voltage variations, it will keep the X800 XT chugging happyily along.
