Hey everyone, I've read around the forums for a while and finally decided to register.

I currently have the mobo / cpu / 1 - 40 gig ibm drive / crucial ddr ram on order with newegg and the parts should arrive sometime this week. the other parts will be salvaged from my current computer.

Epox 8KHA+
AMD Athlon 1700
256 Crucial PC2100 DDR

32MB GeForce2 MX
SB Live 5.1
1 - 30 gig Western Digital 7200/100
2 - 40 gig IBM 7200/100 ( 1 still on order )
D-Link 10/100
16x10x40 LiteOn CDRW
4X Samsung DVD
w2k pro OS
-Housed in an Antec SX1030b

Will the Antec ps be enough or should I replace it for a 350/400w ps just to be safe.

The sound and video card will soon be replaced and another stick of ram will be thrown in.

Thanks for any help ...

I think it should be powerful enough. You can try it out first. If it doesn't work, then buy the 350/400w powersupply.

The 300W PSU will be fine until you add more drives. More than four drives I'd upgrade your PSU.
