Will a 300W power supply be enough for this system.

I finally convinced my Uncle to upgrade his computer. The thing that is worrying me is the case he is getting has only a 300W PS. Honestly I have never seen a system a 300W PS could not handle but he has an old GeForce 1 DDR (Very power hungry). Here are the specs:

Duron 950
Shuttle AK31A
256MB Crucial PC2100
Creative GeForce 1 DDR
Creative Audio PCI
D-Link DFE 530TX
Zoom 56K PCI modem
Maxtor 20GB 7200RPM HD
Hitachi DVD-ROM
1 extra case fan
InWin S500 with 300W PS

Do you think 300W will be enough?

Yes, it will be enough. A 250W might even power that system. I had my GF1 on a 250W PSU, and no stability problems. Of course, I also was using a 433 Celeron.

My 300W Antec is powering this, with all voltage lines in spec (all lines are a lil overvolted except 5V which is constantly at 4.89 under full load all the time):

Shuttle AK31A
384MB Crucial PC2100
PNY GeForce 2 Ti

Linksys NIC
3Com 56k hardware modem
Seagate Barracuda 4 40 GB
Nec 8/40 DVD
Plextor 12/10/32A
3x Antec 80mm sleeve case fans
1x 30CFM delta for my SK-6
