Im getting the Asus M3A, but im currently using the Tt Silent Boost K8, socket 939. Not sure if socket on the M3A will accept it or not, it looks like from what ive seen, that socket 939, 754, Operton and AM2 are pretty much compatible. I know the 4 pin connector on the mobo is backward compatible. So, do i need a new cooler or can i stick with the K8 cooler.

Yup. If it fit on the Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe mounting bracket it should fit on the M3A - no problems.

The cooler will fit just fine but like BB said, it's indeed trash. It doesn't perform nearly as well as the heatpipe solutions.

Thanks so much, i have a cooler that came stock with the original X2 64 4600, so ill use that instead, it has heat pipes on it. I appreciate the feedback.
