Will 512 MB PC133 SDRAM work in my Abit BX6 board?

No it won't.

The largest DIMM size later steppings of the BX chipset can handle is a 256MB double sided DIMM with 16 chips on it.

Like Andy said, a single stick of 512, no.
........but up to 4 sticks of 256 will work, I've got 2 sticks of Crucial Cas2-256MB in mine, and no problems.
I brought the BX6 out of retirement, because my Epox 8KHA+ died, and she still runs like a champ, smooth and stable! ;)
