Will 24GB of ram cause stability issues?

I'm interesting in the following laptop, the cheaper variant.

It comes with 24GB of soldered ram, which I'm assuming is 8+16. I'm guessing it will run in flex mode so it's dual channel for the first 16GB and then single channel for the rest? Has anyone used a laptop in this mode, does it cause problems?

It's LPDDR5 and 12GB chips exist so it could be 12+12 (it most likely is, what I'm thinking).

How much is the price difference between 24 and 32GB SKUs? That 24GB will become an issue sooner than the 32GB unless your usage doesn't regularly max out the available RAM.

I have 24gb of ram in my current laptop and I have not experienced any issues with it.

8GB in single channel is still faster than an SSD.
