will 2100+ cause price drop? if so when?

im thinking of getting an 1800+ or 1900+ i know the 2100+ is due very soon and was wondering if i should wait for a price drop? when do the price drops usually happen after a new cpu release? Thanks

Ars has a link in their front page article on 2100+ pricing and it doesn't look like the slower XPs will be dropping in price any time soon. I guess it might depend on what Intel does with its new releases.

When? Now. The latest price drop in the UK was over the weekend just gone. An 1800+ costs £99 plus VAT now, a fall of about 15% since last week.
