Will 1.9v DDR2 work in a Dell Dimension 8400?

My bro wants to upgrade the memory in his Dell Dimension 8400. He has a Intel 550 that's currently using 1gb(2x512mb) DDR2 533 and wants to upgrade to 2gb. He would like to get a 2gb kit that could be used for a future upgrade to a C2D system. He doesn't want to spend a lot of money and I found this on Newegg - OCZ S.O.E DDR2 667 for $190 AR

My guess is that you can not adjust voltage/ram timings on a Dell Bios, will this ram work in his rig? Though it's spec'd to run at a higher speed, my guess is that he's fine there but I'm concerned that the Dell won't provide the required 1.9v.

Please no Dell bashing, I've offered to build him a pc in the future. Any help is appreciated. Thx

Based on what I have seen with Dell, I would not put the linked memory into it. OCZ has a new line of memory out, similiar to our System Select, that is specifically for OEM systems. That is his best bet for a Dell system if he wants to use OCZ.
