I was watching Bugs Bunny Cartoons the other day and saw one called "To Hare is Human".

Watch this cartoon.

He's entering search items like "Kill" "Rabbit" "Carrot"....he freakin' invented Internet search nearly 40 years before Al Gore did! He IS A SUPER GENIUS!!!!!!!

I wonder if he's one of the genius geezers that posts on AT. I bet he overclocked that UNIVAC, too.

Well most of what's shown these days will give kids seizures.

I miss the good stuff. :(

I always loved Saturday mornings as a kid. All these shows were on all throughout the 90s.
Now they got some really boring and frankly all too happy disturbing crap up.

Road Runner, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tom and Jerry... loved it all, and was excellent way to spend a Saturday morning.

Actually, whenever I'm at home from school, if we are flipping through channels and end up seeing there is some Loony Tunes stuff on, we'll stop and watch it and just laugh. Pure classic, but I fear nothing will ever compare either. Nothing is as timeless and always enjoyable as Loony Tunes.

The difference is back then, the shows where written for adults in a "Three Stooges" style of humor. Great time and care was put into each short. They were an art form- a way for the studio to show off the talent they had available.

Today, cartoons are made to make money and markey toys. No other reason. There are a few exceptions (Justice League, anything made by Gendy Tartovsky (Samurai Jack, Power Puff Girls, Dexter's Lab...he's a genius) Spongebob, Chowder, Rug Rats...there's some talent behind the marketing).

A couple of years ago I went to an outdoor concert featuring the Philadelphia Orchestra live accompanying a huge movie screen showing WB cartoons.

'Twas loverly.

That UNIVAC is much more compact than Google's datacenters. I wonder if it can find porn too....
It does have switches for "goat," "wood pecker," "hoop snake," and "in hole."

Sounds like it knows how to have a good time.

Hell, even some good old fashioned bondage, with various kinds of padlocks.
