"wild cherry m&m's"

I was at Grocery Outlet today and saw Wild Cherry M&M's in the candy isle.

I couldn't tell if they were cherry coated chocolate, or gummy cherry things shaped like m&m's.

I passed them up feeling too poor to gamble the $2.50 they cost...
Has anybody had them? Are they good?

I had some tonight, the difference is the chocolate coating/shell is cherry-chocolate coated; same texture, same chocolate center. Think M&Ms with a bit of cherry flavoring. Delicious.

I had some of these, they make a lot of "special edition" M&M's, some are better than others. These are pretty good. They taste like cherry cordials (without the cherry), but of course with M&M texture. Not like cough syrup, thank goodness.

are these the ones that are about twice the size of regular M&M candies?

They are yummy because they taste like maraschino cherries.
