Everything I've found on wikipedia seems to be very articulate, full of information, and expansive in the breadth to which it describes the topic.

When I found out that anyone can make edits to these pages, I was confused how they keep the site running so smoothly. I've yet to see a page of crap, and don't understand who these people are taking the time to update these things.

well the math portions tend to be compiled from a variety of other sources...mathworld for one & various 'famous' papers in whatever topic.

the information is generally reliable...probably written by some students/grad students w/time on their hands, lol. though some sections are incomplete, but you can't complain about free stuff i guess

abortion page is always locked from edits as you get into a heated and controversial topic with opposing sides. I would imagine the religion debates would also get locked as evidenced in ATOT. 🙂
