Wikipedia sucks at alcohol

So you are complaining that 8-10 drinks per hour will kill a 119 lb person.

Yet you have only had 5 drinks in 70 minutes and weigh 166 lbs.

Trying to figure out the math here

taht's 5 fso far.

The average person is 119 lbs?

No. Learn English. The average fatal dosage for a 119lb person is eight to ten drinks per hour. He should've said 'typical' instead of 'average' though.

theres no way 8 drinks would kill someone who weighs 119lbs. Ive seen many girls who weigh around that much drink 8-10 drinks in an hour. Granted, they were absolutely wasted, but they were nowhere near death.

I think they rather put on the low side. If they put the real average number someone might think: "Ok, Ill drink two under that and Ill be fine." Rather safe than sorry I suppose.

And what a moot point from the OP. Not only has he not drank the amount quoted, hes 38% "overweight".

And whats the definitin of a drink? 5cl of 40%?

That comment was uncalled for. It makes you sound like some unstable kid, listening to Linkin Park ready to go off at any moment.

I did learn English, and the sentence said "average", not "typical".
