I saw her, too.

I'd let her edit my wiki :p

I know this sounds weird, but her left (from our view) is of a decent looking girl, but right half looks like a 50 year old balding man.

18K edits, for free while Wikipedia insiders earn millions from the free labor.

Profit.

Rough mental math, she spends 75 days a year doing edits assuming she spends 8 hours a day (9-5) working on edits.

Yeah, a non-profit like Wikipedia makes tons of profit...

Anyway, if she specialized in a particular field, she probably furthers her own knowledge by making such edits. It might be for "free", but she could see it as benefiting her career. Or maybe she just enjoys contributing.

Non-profits can make a ton of money.
Ever hear of Kaiser Permanente?
They made a profit of $2.6 BILLION in 2009.

A non-profit simply doesn't distributes the profits to shareholders. It can still pay outrageous salaries and bonuses to employees.

I would donate 100 bucks to her college fund or to wiki if she wanted that more for a set of pics of her naked....

I said a non-profit like Wikipedia.

It's clear that most of the money they raise goes into technology and salaries of a relatively modest number of people given the scale of Wikipedia.

I know there are a ton of shady and profitable non-profits. Wikipedia doesn't appear to be one of them, unless someone here knows something I don't.
