I doubt there were any German civilians in Stalingrad. At least not 350,000 of them 😛

Though it specifically states the 850,000 deaths were all Axis Military, I don't see your point.

That explains Soviet casualties.

German casualties were higher than the number of men there though according to the article 😛

edit: the only reasonable explanation is taht the 500,000 was only part of the 6th army and perhaps there were other armies there also.
