The problem that FGD has with his position is the Gaza should work for a living is that its impossible while embargoing the raw materials needed and preventing any exports. Now that the Freedom flotillas have forced Israel to quit blockading raw materials, Gaza is now able to make furniture and similar value added products for export.

And again, with those freedom flotillas of last year, Israel would still be preventing any Gaza economic exports.

yea, and what metal pipes that were built were yanked out and taken by hamas to launch rockets.

they only care about waging war with israel, the people are just their pawns to try and get what they want

Why would Israel want an area that is full of people who want to kill them for their economy to improve? So they can afford more rockets and bombs and lob it to Israel?

FGD, do you realize how stupid you sound when saying, "they only care about waging war with israel."

No matter what set of people you take, some will be good and some of them will be rotten.
But you can't speak of any group of people like they were a single individual.

Nor FGD, I very much doubt you understand anything about the Palestinian people and their plight. So how can you make those kind of statements without proving you are a ignorant total idiot?

The people of Gaza knew that they were getting into bed with the devil when they elected Hamas.

They were given a choice and they made it.

Whether Hamas will allow them another choice, who knows?

The German people were punished for the leadership they selected in WWI and WWII.
The same with Japan in WWII
Collective punishment for the attitude of the leaders in an attempt to destroy the leadership or force a change.

The Palestinians in Gaza have now followed the same course with the same result

Wrong, the overwhelming majority of palestinians want Jews dead. Dead. They are not interested in peace.

You are nothing but a bleeding heart douchebag thinking that they want to co-exist living with Jews in a Jewish state.

Another ignorant and stupid statement. The Economy of Gaza has improved slightly after the Flotillas shamed Israel into reducing their total economic embargo. Yet the low rate of rocket fire from Gaza has not changed. So the two are not linked as you imply.

The other thing is to point out if some mystery MR. X was to beat and kick JS80 within an inch of his life on a regular basis, and then to make it impossible for JS80 to get a job or live a normal life, it would be perfectly understandable that JS80 would want to deal some revenge to Mr. X at first available opportunity.

Now put Israel in the position of Mr.X and JS80 in the position of a Gaza resident, and suddenly JS80 would deny himself for Israel? But then again, forgiveness is the "Christian" thing to do. But forgiveness can only start when the Mr. X abuse stops.

the rocket attacks are low because israel destroyed a hell of a lot of shit during operation cast lead. had the economic embargo been relaxed before the operation, rocket fire would have increased prior to an "operation cast lead" method of crippling the attacks

The other thing is to point out if some mystery MR. X was to beat and kick JS80 within an inch of his life on a regular basis, and then to make it impossible for JS80 to get a job or live a normal life, it would be perfectly understandable that JS80 would want to deal some revenge to Mr. X at first available opportunity.

so by your analogy, israel has every right to fight back at first opportunity. hell, they were attacked in 1948, while trying to be peaceful.

they were attacked in 67, 73, etc.

its called action reaction. I see the palestinians as the action, while israel is reacting.

Now put Israel in the position of Mr.X and JS80 in the position of a Gaza resident, and suddenly JS80 would deny himself for Israel? But then again, forgiveness is the "Christian" thing to do. But forgiveness can only start when the Mr. X abuse stops.

yea, so maybe hamas should put down their weapons, acknowledge israel as a country, and then the embargo will be removed and gaza can have an economy.

but wait, israel has a secret plan to make the palestinians suffer for eternity right?

you are a moron LL

FGD, do you realize how stupid you sound when saying, "they only care about waging war with israel."

IT IS OPENLY STATED IN THEIR CHARTER THAT THEY WANT TO DESTROY ISRAEL. THEY DO NOT RECOGNIZE ISRAEL AS A COUNTRY. THEY FIRE ROCKETS, AMBUSHES, MORTAR ATTACKS, EVERY SINGLE DAY. AND BEFORE, SUICIDE BOMBERS BEFORE ISRAEL DEALT WITH THE SECURITY HOLES.

No matter what set of people you take, some will be good and some of them will be rotten.
But you can't speak of any group of people like they were a single individual.

ofcourse, im sure there are honest palestinians trying to live their lives out. some may blame israel for their problems, some may blame their own government.

Those who blame israel are brainwashed into believing it.

from my POV and the rest of the world, hamas is a terrorist organization. If you want to doubt the US, EU, Canada and Japan, go right ahead.

but, every single person in this world will trust the US, EU, Canada and Japan over some random person on the internet (you)

i think its you who does not know of the Israeli plight. you want to pin everything on israel, while you insist terrorism is a valid method to getting what they demand.

Israel was plenty ready to be at peace with the palestinians, even from before statehood.

if the settlements were never attacked in the first place in the early 1900s, the haganah, irgun, etc never would have been created and they never would have done some nasty things they had done to protect the jews from attack

I am like so so shamed by FGD statements to the effect , "you are a moron LL"

But earth to pro-Israel fan boys and even pro-Palestinian fan boys are really irrelevant on anything but this forums.

But because at the end of the day, the Judge, Jury, and Executioner of what is fair will end up being the international community and the UN. The other joker in the deck, is the internal politics of various countries, but if the USA wants to be the last lone ranger supporter of Israel. Then the USA will pay certain isolationist prices.

Get your head out of the sand. There is no "international community" and the UN doesn't do shit. They pass resolutions and put APCs in areas after a war. No one is going to come to the sudden aid of the Palestinians. Israel has been an established state for 60+ years, and they're going to fight for their sovereignty and land.

Well, constipated, tell your story to the former Apartheid State of South Africa, tell your story to King Louis XVI, tell your story to the Japs who had an unbroken 3000 year record of never losing, and then think how short the mere 62 year track record of Israel is in comparison.

Especially since Israel has been losing all international credibility in the last 10 years and being lead by delusional political wack jobs at present.

But trust me, you will be the last person to understand why when Israel gets a dose of reality therapy.

the apartheid is in a lawless continent thats been ransacked with genocides for many years.

King Louis XVI? are you really going back to the late 1700s to try and prove an outrageous claim? please tell me you arent that desperate. we live in a much different world than 300 years ago.

japs- 3000 years before they fought the US in a war. and how about the fact that it wasnt the same government for the 3000 years. there were changes. See, before modern day japan, the empire of japan existed from 1868 until 1947. before that, it must have changed.

hell, isnt the longest lasting single nation to ever exist were the romans
