I'm not sure if this is just a one off thing with Amazon, a trial-run, or if Nintendo is planning on opening up their entire WiiWare catalog to Amazon but, World of Goo is now up for sale as a WiiWare title on Amazon.

Same rules from the Xbox Live Arcade games apply, you're purchasing a code to download the game on your console.

If Nintendo does indeed put WiiWare games up on Amazon, I wonder how far behind Sony could be?

I'm trying to think why someone would prefer to buy it off of Amazon instead of buying it direct from the source. The only thing I can come up with is that you can pay the exact amount, instead of buying Wii Points in 1000+ increments.

I think that along with being able to use gift cards and the like. Also, being on Amazon means access to more potential customers.

I'm sure that amazon will have the occasional sales.

It's cheaper to get 1500 wii points for the game then to pay the extra tax on amazon.
