The Wii console comes with both. However, retailers nationwide are sold out of all extra controllers/parts, so if you want more than one person playing at once, you'll need additional Wiimotes and Nunchuks.

Or you can be a bloody bastard and eBay them for massive profit, but I thought I'd share the great news anyways..
 
I just don't have it in me to rape some poor schlub over Christmas time. I guess I need to hand in my Viking card.

Thanks for the update. My nephew turns 10 early January so I am hoping they will be in stock after Christmas.
 
Sweet indeed. Sill don't have the console, but at least now I'll have the controllers to enjoy it when I can get my hands on one.

It limited me to a single remote and nunchuk too, but let me place another order. Hopefully they won't both get cancelled or something for trying to "game" the system. I certainly think it's reasonable to want two.
 
wiimotes is not a nintendo trademark nor will it ever be.

also our store doesnt have a shortage of anything 🙂

Massive profit? They are only selling for $50-$55 on eBay, and of that you have to deduct eBay listing fees, eBay final value fees, Paypal fees, shipping fees, massive flooding of remotes on eBay, etc. etc.

You won't make a dime.
 
Target in Lynnwood, WA had about 20 Wiimotes in store this morning, not in the front by the display but on an endcap over towards the PC stuff. No Nunchucks though, although I grabbed the last 2 of those from EBGames at Alderwood Mall this morning. Me thinks I got all my Wii stuff now.

When I was at walmart over the weekend (saturday) they had plenty of both controllers for the Wii. I sat there and thought to myself about hearing how no one can find any, and here was a whole rack filled with both, came very close to buying a few and re-selling at much higher prices 😉
