my kids have been out of school all week and it is cancelled again tomorrow, my wife is going stir crazy, i wish i could find a wiiiii to bring home tonight, that might cheer them up
 
School was canceled yesterday and today, still waiting for word on tomorrow. It probably won't be. My GF's school is delayed until 11:00, and all of her Thursday classes are before 11. Lucky!

Road crews are not properly equipped for this type of weather in Texas.

My dad works for Texas Dept of Trans, and my mom said he has been working since Sunday @ 8 PM and hasn't been home yet. He should get nice overtime on his next check. 😛

Haha I just got an email from my counsin who lives in Austin and she says she got two days off of school. With MLK day, she got a nice 5-day weekend.

Why can't we people up north get "hot" days when it's just too damn hot outside?

Yep, I'm in Austin, too. 5-day weekend FTW. I also got 3 paid days from work as well.
