what with re4 being out on gc for almost a year before ps2. re4 is my favorite game ever and its not gonna be on wii............................................

Wii probably isn't powerful enough then. Look at what happened to FarCry and CoD3 when they got ported to the Wii, I guess Capcom decided not to do that to RE5.

The only reason RE4 was on GC first (as well as some other Capcom titles like Viewtiful Joe) was probably because Nintendo shelled out some big bucks and offered nice licensing deals across the board for Capcom. Capcom didn't develop RE4 as a GC exclusive out of the kindness of their hearts, and the proof is that shortly thereafter the PS2 port was announced, even after the director of the game had denied any ports.

What is interesting are the rumors in this month's EGM regarding a possible takeover by Microsoft of Capcom. Don't know how true that is, but it could certainly add some spice to this generation's console wars.

RE4 is one of the greatest games ever created. And IMO, it was one of the best looking game of the previous generation... pfft.. and who said the gamecube couldn't pump out major graphics!

Seriously though, it would suck if RE5 doesn't come out for the Wii... I would actually think of buying a 360 just for that game!

Forget Capcom, MS should shell out extra $$ for Square-Enix. Then it will kill PS3.
