Hope emulation isn't much of a taboo subject :p - If it is you can just delete this thread if you want.

Was hoping to get some NES/SNES emulation stuff going on my Wii. These Super NES and NES channels are too cool to pass up.

Is it a huge pain in the ass to get a couple emulators onto a USB drive and install them (along with those hip channels) onto my Wii? I have a feeling it wouldn't be worth all the effort involved. I haven't done any homebrew stuff on my Wii yet though.

Emulation discussion is fine as long as we don't get into talk about sharing pirated ROMs.

It's not very hard, though the terminology you'll see being discussed can be a bit confusing at first. Fortunately you can find helpful guides and many of the programs used for this stuff are automated... once you get them running many will connect to the internet and update themselves. I'd recommend going to the Wii hacking forums over at GBATemp.net. You should be able to find the step-by-step guides you need.

Not sure. I know you can load stuff off a USB stick after it's hacked, but you may have to use an SD card for the actual initial hack.

Hmm, well I might have an SD card, not sure if it works though.

Anyone want to link me up to a specific guide? (Thrax? :D)
